Nuru Home Health Care's skilled caregivers handle a wide range of essential tasks for patients, working closely with their doctors and other healthcare providers. We take pride in the professional expertise and personal dedication our caregivers bring to each patient’s care.

We can guide you in administering your own injections and pre-measuring medications to avoid dosage errors, or, if preferred, we can handle the injections for you as often as needed. Nuru will collaborate with your doctor to assess your treatment plan, dosage, and ensure you receive both comfort and support throughout the process.

Basic wound care involves cleaning wounds, changing dressings, and administering antibiotic therapy (when prescribed). In addition to providing self-care, we also train and educate both patients and caregivers on how to change dressings, monitor healing, manage pain, and identify potential complications.
This service is designed to help you organize your medications, creating an easy and effective system for tracking daily dosages. Our trained nurses will pre-pour or pre-measure your medications, assess their effectiveness, and monitor for potential side effects. We will also collaborate with your doctor and pharmacist to prevent any harmful reactions and ensure your safety.
The Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) plan offers an alternative to nursing-home care for adults who want to remain at home but need help with daily activities. This program is designed to provide the highest level of care for each member. We encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and offer a wide range of services under the guidance of their physician.
Learning about a serious illness can be a heartbreaking shock, and the changes that follow can be incredibly hard to adjust to. When you or a loved one faces a serious illness or injury, the physical challenges often take priority, leaving the emotional and social aspects of health overlooked. However, it's equally important to address these psychological and social needs to ensure holistic care and well-being.
If you or a loved one faces any number of conditions that make it challenging to move, your doctor may prescribe physical therapy. Our physical therapists can help you recover mobility to make getting around your house — and getting back on your feet — easier. Nuru Home Health Care combines the latest technology and hands-on care to ensure the right treatment needed and help you improve your strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.
A stroke, illness, or injury can sometimes affect your fine motor skills and your ability to care for yourself. Occupational therapy can help you or a loved one regain the skills needed to enjoy daily activities like eating, dressing, bathing, preparing meals, or engaging in hobbies. Our occupational therapists will create a personalized plan to address your needs and work with you to relearn the motor skills essential for your independence and well-being.

Speech therapy involves much more than just relearning how to form words—it addresses a wide range of communication and swallowing challenges and can benefit individuals of all ages. If you or a loved one has experienced a stroke or another illness that impacts the muscles responsible for swallowing or speech, speech therapy can help. Additionally, individuals recovering from brain injuries may also find speech therapy beneficial in improving their ability to communicate and swallow effectively.
